EYA Selected to Develop 130-Acre Baltimore Neighborhood
The Baltimore Department of Housing and Community Development selected EYA and a team of development partners to develop and build a mixed-income neighborhood in Baltimore, including over 1,100 new homes. Working together with Pennrose Properties, Uplands Partners, Doracon Development and other partners, the “Uplands” community will consist of approximately 880 homes for sale (including workforce, affordable, and market-rate housing) and an additional 215 rental homes. This 130-acre site is expected to become West Baltimore’s premiere community and the city of Baltimore’s largest new residential neighborhood. Uplands is in close proximity to retail, bus routes, MARC train, and downtown Baltimore, offering residents life within walking distance™. The community is expected to open for sales in 2010. |
