The Neightborhoods of EYA
Conversations and news about smart growth, green building, and DC's best city living hot spots.
3 Jan 2012 // from EYA

On the first day of 2012 The Washington Post Capitol Business section picked up on the slew of retailers and eateries flocking to Mosaic District — the brand new arts, shopping, dining and living community taking shape at the intersections of 495, 66 and Route 50 in Fairfax County.

Just a coincidence? We don’t think so!

Mosaic District is going to be one of the hottest “smart living” stories in the Washington Metropolitan Region this year.

But don’t take our word for it!

Decide for yourself when you attend EYA’s Grand Opening of the Townhomes at Mosaic District on Saturday, January 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You’ll get a look at the townhouse sites, floor plans and finishes, while our EYA staff fills you in on other exciting details. Plus we’ll give you a literal taste of the sweet life — delicious treats from Artisan Confections, one of what could be your many new neighbors when you move into the Townhomes at Mosaic District.

The Washington Post‘s article notes that new homeowners will be able to “walk to dinner” — not to mention to the movies, the grocery store, local boutiques, and big-name national retailers (like Target and Neiman Marcus Last Call Studio). Eighty percent of the first retail phase is leased up and set to open later this year, with two additional local boutiques to be under lease any day now. We expect a similar high level of interest in the limited number of townhomes available in Phase One, which will become available for sale at our January 14 Grand Opening event. We hope to see you there!
