At EYA, we love to celebrate our homeowners and foster connection among neighbors. Not only do we enjoy gathering with our homeowners to celebrate community milestones, but it is also important to us that we offer opportunities for residents to come together, meet new neighbors and forge the ties that create strong communities. In the first half of 2025, we've had a lot to celebrate at EYA communities across the DMV—from first move-ins to community completions and more. Below is a snapshot of some of the recent events at EYA neighborhoods.
It's been a busy 2025 at Farmstead District, a walkable new neighborhood just steps to Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park, the shops at King Farm and Metro. In January, we opened our two brand-new model homes and held a special preview event for our homeowners to gather with neighbors at a champagne brunch and tour the new model homes prior to the grand opening.
In April, homeowners enjoyed a pizza party catered by three local pizzerias. Guests taste-tested various pizza styles and toppings to discover their favorite new local pizza place.
And in June, a very special event was held with the City of Rockville Mayor, Monique Ashton, to celebrate the opening of the Barn, the community center at Farmstead District, and honor the individuals whose names are reflected throughout the community's new streets (African American residents who championed access to quality education in Rockville and Montgomery County). Located near all the retail, dining and entertainment in Tysons, VA, Tysons Ridge offers a quiet retreat with onsite amenities including outdoor fitness area, walking trail, community park, children's playground and more. To celebrate the completion of the community, homeowners gathered in the park to enjoy an afternoon BBQ catered by Mission BBQ.
If you are interested in making Tysons Ridge your new home, only two homes remain,
ready for immediate move-in!
EYA's townhomes at Westbard Square are located just steps to all the new retail, including Starbucks, Oak Barrel & Vine, Silver & Sons BBQ, Tatte Bakery & Cafe and more. To welcome this new retailer to the neighborhood, we gathered at Tatte for an afternoon of tasty treats and mingling among future neighbors.
And this month, we kicked off the first book club! A new opportunity to connect with future neighbors through engaging conversation and a shared reading experience, the book club is the first interest-based club at Westbard Square, with more coming soon.
Northside is located adjacent to all the shops and restaurants at Park Potomac. In April, we held a drop-in happy hour at King Street Oyster Bar for homeowners to enjoy a drink with our sales team, meet and mingle with their future neighbors, and get to know this neighborhood restaurant.
Neighbors gathered again in June for a preview of the brand-new model homes, enjoying brunch with soon-to-be neighbors and friends.
Newly opened in early 2025, Strathmore View is located just steps to the Music Center at Strathmore and Metro. We gathered at a nearby Kensington favorite, BabyCat Brewery, for an afternoon of mingling and connection among future neighbors.
At another model home opening event (it's been a busy year so far!), Reservoir District homeowners gathered to preview the model homes, enjoy a champagne brunch and celebrate the first move-ins in the community!
At EYA, it is often said that we don't just build homes, we build neighborhoods. Every neighborhood is built with a holistic approach to not only create housing opportunities, but also with an eye towards enduring design, place making and connecting residents with each other and their community.
