This month, the [City of Alexandria](http://apps.alexandriava.gov/Calendar/Detail.aspx?si=7760) will celebrate its 265th birthday! Join in the festivities on Saturday, July 12th along the Potomac waterfront at Oronoco Bay Park. Bring a blanket and picnic and pick a prime spot on the lawn to enjoy live music, fireworks and more. The event kicks off at 7:00 pm with a live band, followed by birthday cake and the grand finale fireworks display at 9:30 pm! Admission is free.

Oronoco Bay Park is located next to EYA’s newest Old Town neighborhood, [The Oronoco](https://www.eya.com/oronoco/), and just minutes from [Old Town Commons](https://www.eya.com/Old_Town_Commons). EYA has been building homes in Alexandria for the past 22 years. We are proud to be a part of the city’s past and look forward to being a part of its future.
