Downtown Silver Spring is singing the Blues! If you are a Blues fan, get ready for an extravaganza of live performances and fun festivities as part of the week-long Blues celebration. Enjoy nightly performances at some of your favorite local venues including Veterans Plaza and McGinty’s Public House. The main event takes place on Saturday, June 20th. [The 7th Annual Silver Spring Blues Festival](http://silverspringbluesfest.yolasite.com/) is a free, all-day block party with 2 stages of acoustic and electric Blues music from 10 AM – 9 PM. The festival also features food, drink and craft vendors. The music continues into the wee hours at McGinty’s after-party beginning at 10 PM.
