Look no further for a way to help local families in need this Thanksgiving! Our intern, Monique Currie of the [Washington Mystics](http://www.wnba.com/mystics/), tipped us off to [Food 4 Families](http://www.nbcwashington.com/on-air/community/Food-4-Familes-133074818.html) and our food drive was born.

We invite you to drop off non-perishable food items to any of our sales offices now through Sunday, November 20, to benefit [NBC4](http://www.nbcwashington.com/)'s Food 4 Families.

All donations will be delivered to the Verizon Center the following day for a "food-a-thon" that provides baskets of food to families throughout the region so that they can enjoy Thanksgiving dinners.

NBC4 suggests the following items:

- Canned vegetables (yams, carrots, green beans, corn)
- Cranberry sauce
- Apple sauce
- Canned fruits
- Soups (box and can)
- Dry goods (stuffing, rice, macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes)

Our sales centers at [Capitol Quarter](https://www.eya.com/Capitol_Quarter), [Chancellor's Row at Brookland Metro](https://www.eya.com/Chancellors_Row_at_Brookland_Metro) and [Old Town Commons](https://www.eya.com/Old_Town_Commons) will be happy to accept your donations.
