Most of Old Town's holiday-inspired arts events, parades and city traditions have already passed, but the strong restaurant scene is keeping things going through this week. All events below are within walking distance of Old Town Commons, but be sure to put a scarf on, as it seems Mother Nature has decided it's winter!
For you Seinfeld fans, Rustico is hosting a Festivus Celebration with 12 seasonal beers on tap on December 20th starting at 6 p.m. Get the full list of beers here. Rumor has it that Beer Director Greg Engert will be at the event. Perhaps he'll share more details on the brewery they're planning to open at the Boilermaker Shops steps from our townhouses selling at Capitol Quarter!
BRABO's Butcher's Block is serving up a different libation with its wine tastings: "Sparklers!" on Dec 21, 5-8:00 p.m. or "Holiday Dinner Pairings" on Dec 23, 6-8:30 p.m.
On December 21st you can also hop on over to Vermillion Bar and Restaurant's 3rd Annual Holiday Bash at 9 p.m. There will be live music, Christmas cookies and candy, seasonal winter beers & cocktails, plenty of holiday cheer and of course… SANTA! First act starts at 9:30 p.m., last act ends at 11:45 p.m. For the early birds, there's a special happy hour from 4-7:00 p.m.
