Kick off the holiday season on Friday, November 20th at RIO Washingtonian’s annual [Tree Lighting](http://www.riowashingtonian.com/events/washingtonian-tree) celebration! The festivities will take place on the Lakefront Plaza beginning at 6 PM. Bring the kids to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy horse and carriage rides, taste samples from local restaurants and more.

Be sure to stop by the [EYA Westside at Shady Grove Metro](https://www.eya.com/westside-at-shady-grove/) table for free hot cocoa! We’ll be located between Uncle Julio’s and Joe’s Crab Shack serving up warm chocolaty goodness from Corner Bakery.

Plus, enter to win an event [VIP Experience](http://woobox.com/bagz55). The lucky winner will receive VIP parking during the event, cut-the-line passes for carriage rides, the carousel and to meet Santa and dinner for four at Copper Canyon! The deadline to enter is November 17th.

Washingtonian/RIO Center is just moments from EYA's new townhomes in Rockville at Westside and is one of the many great neighborhood amenities. We look forward to seeing you there!
