Developers are breaking ground on the County’s first Whole Foods market at the Cafritz property in Riverdale Park, just one mile north of EYA’s Arts District Hyattsville community.

The Whole Foods is slated to open in 2015, along with the remaining yet-to-be-named retail shops on the site, for a total of 168,000 s.f. of retail shopping.

Arts District Hyattsville led the way for the redevelopment of the Route 1 corridor, and includes over 500 new homes, Busboys and Poets, Tara Thai, Elevation Burger, Yes! Organic Market and other shops. An onsite community Metro shuttle brings residents to Prince George’s Plaza station for easy access to downtown DC.

A limited number of new construction townhomes remain in the community, priced from the mid $300s. EYA’s onsite sales center and model home is open daily at 4541 Longfellow Street in Hyattsville or call (301) 699-1900.
