Need some R & R but don’t want to deal with the travel hassles? Old Town Alexandria offers many great attractions and first class experiences right in your own backyard!

Dust off your bike and head to the Mt. Vernon Trail. From Old Town you could bike approximately 7 miles into DC stopping at the Mall and taking in the monuments or a few museums. Or you could head south approximately 10 miles to Mt. Vernon. Tour the beautiful estate and gardens and take in some history of this iconic historic home.

Treat yourself to a spa and shopping day! Sugar House Day Spa & Salon is located in a restored 19th century home that was once part of a sugar refinery. They now offer “sweetness of a different kind,” including deep tissue massage, organic chocolate therapy, sugar house scrub and more. Kimpton’s Lorien Hotel & Spa also offers a day of relaxation including caviar dream facials and a lavender dreams body experience featuring a scrub and warm body wrap.

The Old Town boutiques provide retail therapy of every kind. Update your wardrobe with the latest Spring fashions from Hysteria or The Pink Palm or redo a room with some new accessories from Red Barn Mercantile or European Country Living. After a day of shopping, treat yourself and your special someone to a nice dinner at Bastille, Brabo or Restaurant Eve.

Take a day to tour your own city. There are many great tours available, including self-guided walking tours, historic breweries tours, food tours, boat tours and more!

All of these great establishments and experiences are steps from the Townhomes at Old Town Commons. Now selling our final 2 homes!
