About the Project EYA and Brandywine partnered with the Sisters of the Holy Cross and the Academy of the Holy Cross to realize a shared vision for a multigenerational community where families, students of adjacent schools, and senior residents can interact and benefit from proximity to each other.

The proposed community will be located on the former St. Angela Hall property, once owned by the Sisters of the Holy Cross, and a portion of the Academy of the Holy Cross campus. The Academy will retain most of its campus and continue providing girls with a rigorous education adjacent to the new community.

The development plan introduces a mixed-age community consisting of a senior living home, 103 attached townhomes, and 9 single-family detached homes. To achieve the proposed mix of uses, the development team is working with Montgomery County to rezone the site. When fully built out, the community will include over 5 acres of publicly accessible open spaces, including recreational areas and walking paths, and tree-lined streets and sidewalks.
