About the Project
Early in 2015, EYA began working closely with Montgomery County planning staff to rezone and develop a residential community on a 40-acre site zoned for office use.
Together, EYA and the site’s seller, Boston Properties, argued that there was little demand for new suburban office development and successfully received approval to develop the site in 2018.
Tower Oaks will feature 217 luxury townhomes by EYA, including 51 units targeted to residents as low as 50% of AMI, as well as new condominiums and patio homes designed and built by Pulte. In addition to the residences, EYA has planned a state-of-the-art clubhouse to serve the entire neighborhood — an inviting facility featuring a fitness center, and a community pool with plenty of gathering spaces. Planning is underway to ensure Tower Oaks residents have quick and easy access to the nearby Metro station.
