On Friday, October 23rd, EYA staffers ascended upon A Wider Circle in Silver Spring, Maryland for the company's Day of Service. Volunteers sorted donated items, made repairs to furniture, re-stocked the showroom floor, assembled shelving, and loaded items onto recipients' vehicles.
The EYA Foundation proudly donated 25 backpacks to Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP) as part of the company's summer meeting in Bethesda. MHP provides the backpacks to kids-in-need at their after-school homework club in Silver Spring. The organization operates affordable housing communities throughout Montgomery County and serves their residents with a variety of programs designed to improve quality of life. EYA regularly does an annual backpack drive in the summer and toy drive in the winter. To learn more about the Foundation, click here.
On Friday, October 24, 2014, EYA employees gathered for their annual Day of Service in Washington, DC. This year's recipient of giving was Byte Back, a DC-based non-profit which provides computer training and employment readiness classes to low-income individuals.
