The EYA Foundation proudly donated 25 backpacks to Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP) as part of the company's summer meeting in Bethesda. MHP provides the backpacks to kids-in-need at their after-school homework club in Silver Spring. The organization operates affordable housing communities throughout Montgomery County and serves their residents with a variety of programs designed to improve quality of life. Once a year, the foundation awards grants to non-profit organizations and private foundations working in the Washington metro area. Grant making priorities include contributions, donations, and sponsorships for programs focusing on disadvantaged populations, job training and education, beautification of neighborhoods, and the rehabilitation of support facilities for the under-served.

On Friday, October 3rd, EYA team members gathered on the green of Four Mile Run Park & Playground in Alexandria, VA for EYA Foundation’s annual Day of Service. This year, EYA teamed up with RunningBrooke and the City of Alexandria, Virginia Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities.
