Old Town Commons residents have a new upscale casual dining option at TJ Stone’s, Old Town Alexandria’s latest taproom & restaurant.
The beautiful space occupies the former location of Stardust Café and includes exposed brick, rich wood details and an atmosphere that’s as elevated as the thoughtful menu.
Head Chef Colin Abernethy anchors the traditional American cuisine menu with Kansas-City inspired pulled pork, beef brisket and rotisserie chicken – all cured and smoked in their own venue. Of course, the brunch, lunch and dinner items include a good variety of small plates, salads, soups, delectable side dishes and a brunch menu that’s both sweet and savory.
For a quick stop in, consider the happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 PM – 7 PM. A selection of their small plates is available for just $2.50 and beer & wine specials are priced from $4-7. It’s worth mentioning TJ Stone’s boasts nearly 200 beers in their beer selection, including some hard-to-find Belgians and IPAs.
Considering a townhome purchase at Old Town Commons? We’re happy to report that every new EYA homeowner at Old Town Commons will be receiving a gift card to TJ Stone’s. What a tasty way to explore the neighborhood.
