About the Project
Perfectly situated where 66, 50 and the Beltway meet, Mosaic District is a 31-acre mixed-use redevelopment featuring a half million square feet of new retail, multifamily homes and 137 EYA townhomes.
The area was once dominated by auto body shops and in 2010 EDENS began work on the site to transform it into a destination for fashion, retail, film, dining, commercial office, and residential apartments.
Over the past decade, EYA has developed specific expertise building high-quality, architecturally distinct townhomes as key elements of larger mixed-use, retail communities. EDENS selected EYA to create for-sale homes for this $542 million mixed-use community. Even before Mosaic’s grand opening, in 2012, EYA exceeded its sales goals, nearly selling out before breaking ground. As important, EYA’s brand and quality helped create a dynamic and upscale retail environment that exceeded EDENS and EYA’s collective expectations.
