General Counsel
Demetri Datch serves as General Counsel at EYA, bringing over 20 years of legal experience in real estate and corporate law. His practice spans all aspects of real estate, including the counsel and negotiation of commercial real estate, business and financing transactions, organizational structuring and restructuring, homebuilding and residential home sales, leasing, construction, and general corporate matters. Prior to joining EYA, Demetri was a partner at a Bethesda-based law firm before moving in-house over a decade ago to serve as general counsel for a fully integrated real estate development owner and operator with a national footprint.
Demetri has served on committees and boards of directors for multiple trade associations and nonprofit organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University, a Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University.
