What is it like to be a part of the EYA team?

June 18th, 2026

By EYA Homes

At EYA, we’ve created a culture where our team members experience opportunities to make an impact — not just within our company, but in the lives of EYA homeowners and the neighborhoods where we build. As the company continues to grow, we're always looking for passionate people who want to be part of our team.

So what is it like to work at EYA? Hear from our team members about their experiences and what they love about working here. Plus, get to know the company's values and how we foster employee engagement and satisfaction in the office and at fun events throughout the year.

What's it like to work at EYA?

What do team members love about working at EYA? Hear what these folks had to say.

Rebecca-1What has stood out to you most since joining the team?

What has stood out to me most is how genuinely supportive everyone is. People across all departments and experience levels are always willing to help one another, creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels respected and valued.

Is there a project, moment or accomplishment you’re proud of?

I’m most proud of seeing the projects I support behind the scenes come to life. Being able to attend sales openings, visit active sites, and tour our model homes makes my work feel especially meaningful because I can see the impact of what we’re building and the communities we’re creating.

SydneyWhat made you want to join EYA?

I had heard incredible things about this company from both internal team members and professionals throughout the development/real estate industry. The company's reputation for exceptional quality, outstanding customer service, and a strong culture truly stands out. It's rare to find an organization that has achieved this level of success while maintaining such a positive and respected reputation. I was genuinely excited to be a part of it.

How would you describe the culture at EYA?

A common theme I've noticed is the pride everyone at EYA takes in their work and the communities we've created.  Every team member plays an important role in cultivating the EYA experience. Within the Sales Team especially, it's very rewarding to see how each team member has a different approach to make buyers feel valued, heard, and supported. We all share a commitment to making the homebuying process as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

BarnabasWhat made you want to join EYA?

From the very first interview I had, it was very clear to me that EYA had a special culture to it—felt more like a family and not just coworkers and I wanted to be part of that.

What has stood out to you most since joining the team?

The passion and pride the people have in what they do and its effects on our communities.

What advice would you give someone thinking about joining EYA?

If you want to be around hardworking and intelligent people that care for each other and their work, this is the place for you.

AstridWhat has kept you at EYA for nearly 12 years?

What has kept me at EYA for almost 12 years is the opportunity to continuously grow and evolve in my career and the strong friendships I’ve built within EYA. I also really value the relationships I’ve built over the years, not only internally with different departments, but also externally with realtors, lenders, title companies, and local city offices. The people and the collaborative culture have made a big difference in my experience here.

What advice would you give someone thinking about joining EYA?

My advice would be to stay open to learning and building relationships across departments. One of the great things about EYA is the opportunity to gain exposure to many different parts of the business. The more you collaborate, ask questions, and connect with others, the more you’ll grow both personally and professionally. I’d also strongly encourage new employees to lean on the mentor they’re paired with during their first year. It’s a program I truly appreciate and one of the many things I love about working at EYA.

Lorin BlogWhat has kept you at EYA for nearly 30 years?

Obviously, it’s the people at EYA. EYA employees are truly remarkable in their strive for excellence, always bringing a can-do attitude to the table and excelling in our collaborative environment. This dedication to teamwork and quality is what makes EYA such a great place to work.  I can not imagine working anywhere else.

How have you seen EYA grow and change during your tenure?

EYA has always been great at what it does, but what stands out to me the most are the process-driven improvements implemented over the years. EYA is always striving to better itself, and this relentless pursuit of excellence makes me proud to be part of the team.

What are EYA's mission and values?

EYA's mission is to create best-in-class, urban-lifestyle walkable neighborhoods that positively impact individual lives and communities in a socially responsible way.

Living by our core values is what makes EYA a great place to work—and what makes us successful in what we do. Our values create a culture where integrity, determination, excellence, innovation and collaboration guide our every action. Simply put, we really like and respect each other and we love what we do, how we do it, and why we do it!

How is employee engagement, connection and satisfaction fostered?

At EYA, we strive to build a strong team environment with mutual respect for one another. We recognize that team members whole-heartedly give their time, energy and dedication to ensure our collective success. In return, we offer a fulfilling work environment, opportunities for career development, and care and consideration for personal lives and well-being.

We also believe that work should be both fulfilling and fun, and have a dedicated "Culture Crew" team who plans learning opportunities and fun events throughout the year. For example:
