EYA Foundation was happy to donate 37 backpacks filled with school supplies for kids in need through the Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP). The MHP operates affordable housing communities throughout Montgomery County and serves their residents with a variety of programs designed to improve quality of life.
The backpacks were donated to one of these programs—MHP's after-school homework club for children, ages 5 - 14, which provides students a structured and supportive atmosphere for completing school assignments. Literacy specialists also provide small group instruction for children who require more in-depth assistance.
EYA Foundation regularly participates in a variety of charitable activities throughout the year—from lending our construction expertise to organizations in need to arranging volunteer and donation events.

It’s finally fall and you can’t wait to head out into the crisp air for an early morning run. Out the window, you notice a few auburn leaves falling to the ground and feel a surge of gratefulness that you don’t have to worry about raking the yard and maneuvering around piles near the sidewalks.
