EYA offers a variety of floorplans to meet today’s lifestyles. Expansive rooftop terraces provide exquisite outdoor entertaining opportunities and multi-generational suites offer privacy to live-in relatives or out-of-town guests. Many EYA townhomes also feature recreation rooms, allowing for flex space that can be used as:
Home Gym: There’s no excuse not to workout with your own home gym! Don’t want to purchase expensive equipment? Tons of videos are available online and on TV. Just grab an exercise ball, band and some weights and you are ready for a great workout.
Yoga Room: In today’s busy world, many people are seeking quiet space in the home. Decorate with serene colors and leave room to roll out the yoga mat or meditation cushions for daily rejuvenation.
Media Room: If you are a sports fan or movie-lover, create your own in-home theatre to watch the latest movies and cheer on your favorite teams. Your friends will love coming over for all the big games!
Play Room: Tired of tripping over the kids’ toys? Give them their own space play. Decorate with a large rug, colorful bean bags and baskets and cubbies for storage.
Home Office: Enjoy the privacy of your own home office. Add shelves to organize the clutter and be sure there is ample lighting for inspiration and productivity!
Library: Love reading? Create a library with your favorite books and comfy chairs to relax after a long day.

Roz Winegrad was fifth in line last November to purchase a townhome by EYA at Cabin John Village, even though the Potomac, Maryland, development was still just a fenced-in parking lot. The single mom, whose son leaves for college next fall, had been looking at several options to downsize from her large contemporary house in Bethesda. “I was looking for a way to not feel so isolated, and to be part of a community,” she says of the unit she chose that faces Cabin John Regional Park. At the same time, Winegrad will be able to take just a few short steps to the shops and restaurants of the newly updated Cabin John Village. “I think it’s going to be a premier shopping and dining destination without the craziness of downtown Bethesda or Pike & Rose,” she says. “I still want serenity, and I still want a home in an area where there aren’t millions of people every day.”
