This holiday season, venture off King Street to nearby Carlyle District for Alexandria’s acclaimed Holiday Market. Located just three blocks from King Street Metro station in John Carlyle Square, the event is a lively European-inspired Holiday Market, complete with arts, crafts, gifts, European fare, sweet treats, specialty beverages, Santa appearances, kids’ activities and live entertainment.

The Holiday Market is open weekends from 11 AM – 8 PM, with additional open hours posted on their website. This weekend delight your senses with sounds from Seth Kibel, one of the region’s most admired woodwind specialists, Saturday from Noon – 2 PM.

From EYA’s Old Town Commons Townhomes in Alexandria and EYA’s Oronoco Waterfront Condominium residences in Alexandria, stroll down to King Street and hop on the free trolley. It runs every 15 minutes and travels from the waterfront to King Street Metro station.

Happy holidays!
