We are pleased to share that Sprouts Farmers Market will be the anchor grocer coming to Reservoir District! Scheduled to open in 2028, it will be the grocer’s first location in the District of Columbia. This highly anticipated addition to the community will provide healthy and convenient grocery shopping just steps from EYA's townhomes.
Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners recently announced this news in a Washington Business Journal (WBJ) article. The 22,500 square foot Sprouts store will be located in one of their multifamily buildings coming to the community. In addition to the grocer, the building will also include apartments and neighborhood retail shops.

Reservoir District is a public-private partnership between the District of Columbia and Vision McMillan Partners, with each partner developing a portion of the site: EYA (townhomes), Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners (apartments and retail) and Trammell Crow Company (healthcare and retail). Mayor Bowser and the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development led the development of the community center and park.
