Just three miles from EYA's DC townhome neighborhood Chancellor's Row, local bloggers at DCmud announce that new shops will break ground this May.
The Shops at Dakota Crossing will soon include the City's first Costco, a new Target, Shoppers Food Warehouse, and Marshall's (among others), for a total of 430,000 s.f. of new retail. The site plan shows room for 7 or 8 other smaller shops adjacent to the large anchor stores, although no retailers have yet to claim the space.
The construction schedule seems pretty aggressive with the grand opening of the new Costco scheduled for August 2012. Read the full story here. We'll post additional updates as other new retailers sign on to occupy space at Dakota Crossing.
