EYA Breaks Ground on First Phase of Mixed-Use Silver Line Project Project includes a mix of 115 number of townhouses, 300 multi-family units, and approximately 20,000 SF of retail EYA, LLC (EYA) announces that construction is underway at The Townhomes at Reston Station located two-city blocks from the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station on the Silver Line. The product of a joint partnership with JBG Smith and Chevy Chase Land Company, EYA worked with both on the entitlement process of the 18-acre site defining the street grids, public spaces and park spaces, which will transform what had previously been an outdated low-rise office park into a vibrant neighborhood. The project is in the middle of one of the most rapidly transforming Northern Virginia submarkets, a well-established amenity rich neighborhood poised to take advantage of the increased interest generated by the pending completion of the Silver Line. Bernstein Management Company is providing the equity for the EYA portion of the project.

City of Fairfax Mayor and Council Green Light EYA Townhome Development on Pickett Road Project was approved through virtual meetings, a first for EYA and the City of Fairfax, and also includes the City’s first Affordable Dwelling Units (ADU’s) as part of the City’s recently passed ADU Ordinance BETHESDA, MD (July 22, 2020) – EYA Development, LLC (EYA) is pleased to announce that the Mayor and Council of the City of Fairfax, VA have unanimously approved a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning for a planned development of 50 townhomes to be built at 3500 Pickett Road on a 3.7-acre site currently occupied by Metro Church. Working with the surrounding community and city agencies, EYA developed a thoughtful design aimed at filling a regional need for low maintenance, well-priced homeownership opportunities. It is estimated that only 14 percent of the current housing stock in Fairfax is townhomes and this project will address demand for this type of housing in the City.
