With the ever-changing environment, our priorities remain the health, well-being, and safety of our team, homeowners, neighbors, and community. We have reorganized and re-imagined the layout and design of each of our sales centers to ensure the safety and comfort of guests during their appointments. You may now schedule both in-person and virtual appointments at each of our currently selling communities.
Newly Designed Sales Centers for Safety & Social Distancing
The new design of the sales centers has been thoughtfully reconfigured to ensure a seamless appointment. Each sales center is now divided into two zones: a sales manager zone and a guest zone. They will also feature new 6-foot wide tables with seats on each side to ensure safe social distancing during meetings, strategically placed monitors, and displays for optimal viewing––all done to create a seamless and safe experience.
Tower Oaks Sales Manager, David Ortiz, commented on in-person appointments at our newly designed sales centers. "It has actually been easier to connect with folks. Since we are open by appointment only, everyone gets quality, uninterrupted time. Instead of other groups walking in to the sales center on a more casual level, those interested are getting all the attention without distractions. There is an instant sense of a good feeling interacting with people directly again."
When you arrive at your appointment, you will be asked to call or text the sales manager to let him or her know that you have arrived while waiting in the comfort of your car. He or she will conduct a brief verbal health assessment before welcoming you to enter the sales center. These questions will be sent in advance as part of the appointment confirmation email you will receive prior to your appointment.
All visitors must bring and wear their own face covering for the entire duration of the appointment. EYA will provide both hand sanitizer and gloves for guests, but visitors are not permitted to bring their own gloves. All safety precautions will be clearly outlined in an email you’ll receive before your appointment.
Riggs Park Place Sales Center with safety measures in place
As Tower Oaks reopened it's doors for private appointments, Sales Manager, Michael Sibilia, noticed a shift in perspective for guests. "I think everyone starting to come back out is in a different headspace than before, and we want to make sure people feel as safe and comfortable as possible, especially when visiting the new model homes. Social distancing, masks, and gloves cover the majority of our guests' concerns, but we have also enhanced cleaning practices and only allow one group of guests (up to 3 people) in at a time. This provides the private and safe experience people expect and appreciate," says Sibilia.
To further these measures, only one sales person or design consultant will be present at a time and each visiting party may only have up to three members. EYA team members will also be wearing required protective face coverings throughout the appointment.
With these new safety measures in place, Sibilia added, "I think most guests are excited to come out and visit the models in a safe environment. It's been something they have been looking forward to and the models and site progress are amazing to see in-person, and the protocols in place make guests comfortable. I think COVID-19 has put everyone's current living situation to the test and many are now very comfortable checking out newer and different living spaces and features that are missing from their current home."
Preparing for Your Appointment
Aside from newly placed safety precautions, appointments will operate as they have in the past. Our sales managers will guide you through the homes and neighborhood features, and shape the appointment around your needs.
Before your appointment, you may want to take a few moments to prepare by viewing online galleries, prepping any questions you want to ask, and noting what is most important to you in a new home. As we spend more and more time in our homes, some features such as private entries, outdoor space, flex space, and natural light have become more important than ever.
Start by thinking of how you want to live in your new space. Do you love cooking homemade meals in an open and spacious kitchen? Do you look forward to rolling out your yoga mat to get your day started? Do you enjoy hosting happy hour on your terrace? Do you look forward to setting up a spare room as a home office, gym, music room, or even a craft space? Consider these wants and needs before your appointment so we can help identify which options are the best fit for you.
One of the benefits of a new construction home is the peace of mind that everything in the home will be just that – new. From all new materials, appliances, and more, you will be the first to move-in. There is also the luxury of wider buying time frame options. You will have more time to make your arrangements, sell your current home, or relocate. During your appointment, you’ll be able to discuss your ideal timeline and we’ll work with you to find the right option for you and your family.
Booking an Appointment
You can easily schedule your appointment online. First, select the neighborhood you’re interested in learning more about.
On each of the contact pages, simply fill out the form and a sales manager will be in touch within 24 hours to chat with you, gather some details about what you’re looking for in your new home, and confirm whether you’re interested in an in-person or virtual appointment. Typically, this will be about a 10-minute conversation to make sure we understand what you need and want to know more about so we can prepare in advance for your appointment.
From there, you will receive a confirmation email with all of the information you need, including details on the safety measures and guidelines.

To book a virtual appointment, you can follow the same path as you would for an in-person appointment. Choose which neighborhood you would like to learn more about, fill out the online form, and you will receive a confirmation from a sales manager, during which they will work with you to schedule your virtual appointment for a time that works best for your schedule.
The tour and appointment will be conducted through live video chat with a member of our team. Just as we would in person, we will carefully explain and go through all of the details, discuss contract information, talk over options, and more. With our virtual tour options, we can walk you through the homes virtually, room by room, and guide you along the way.
For those wondering if virtual appointments will be as comprehensive as in-person appointments, Nadia Purvis, Sales Associate at Riggs Park Place, commented on the tools EYA has in place to guarantee just that. "Using Zoom coupled with our virtual reality tour have been brilliant tools during this time. Folks are able to browse through a virtual model home with ease and better imagine the finishes inside a new home at Riggs Park Place. Realtors are also able to easily join virtual meetings alongside their clients. It's great because everyone gets to learn about the homes and stay informed throughout the process. It's also a great way for realtors to preview the homes for their clients that are interested in the project."
For those apprehensive on the virtual buying process, McGinley added, "I was surprised just how easy it has become being able to conduct a full meeting over video. Being able to share my screen allows me to talk through and access all the same tools I would use during an in-person meeting. For those unsure about the process, I would say, 'don't knock it until you try it!' Give it a try, you may be surprised about how much you can learn during one of our Zoom meetings."
Purvis added, "I've been surprised that so many people are receptive to this new virtual format. Some folks have even expressed that they initially felt nervous about meeting virtually, but in the end found it to be an efficient way to shop for a new home."
