This year marks a big milestone for EYA as the company is celebrating 30 years of creating distinctive new neighborhoods across the greater Washington area. Since 1992, EYA and its affiliated development companies have been building new homes that celebrate the best of modern design and urban lifestyles. We have welcomed more than 7,000 homeowners to over 45 new neighborhoods across Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia where our residents enjoy the best of life within walking distance®.
Dear Friends of EYA, 2021 turned out to be an incredible year. As it began, we were all concerned about what the future would bring. It seemed we had survived the worst of the pandemic, adapted to working remotely, and retooled much of our operations, especially sales, to a virtual world. We were optimistic about the future vaccines and the end of the pandemic. As 2021 progressed, the incredible development of the vaccines and the warm summer months brought a renewed sense of hope for a return to normal. In reality, it turned into a new normal. This new normal included variants that brought back Covid fears and renewed business uncertainty exacerbated by supply chain woes and challenged delivery schedules.
As we head into the new year, we would like to share a letter written to all our homebuyers from McLean Quinn, EYA LLC President. This letter provides insight into the overall state of the homebuilding industry, specifically the impact of supply chain issues and labor shortages, and how the entire EYA team is working to address these challenges.
We are excited to introduce a new way to experience the Townhomes at Cabin John Village with a self-guided tour of our unique, end-unit home, the Cypress I model (lot 40). This move-in-ready home offers amazing woodland views as well as modern design with open floorplan, personal elevator, rooftop terrace and many more luxurious features. The self-guided tours offers you an innovative option to walk through the home with privacy and convenience. When reserving a time to tour, you will have the option to pick a day and time that works best for you. Whether you want to book ahead or are in the neighborhood and want to stop by, access is just a few clicks away. Simple to book, easy to tour, and convenient -- this is home shopping made easy.
